Bricklight Nights A 17-week series featuring ABQ’s most talented bands, visual artists, and craft vendors, this open air market-style event brought people and energy to the Bricklight District as it aimed to sustain itself through the Summer and Fall of 2017 during the throws of the A.R.T project. BLN Changed Wednesdays on Harvard Street - from the lowest revenue day of the week with the highest rate of reported security incidences, to the highest revenue yielding day of the week with the lowest report of disturbances. There’s something to be said for the community engagement that Immastar Productions builds and provides. In November of 2016, Contreras, along with creative consultation & input from Idris Goodwin, and with funding from the Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Network Fellowship, staged a two-night, three-performance theater event. It showcased the infusion and collision of art forms including flamenco, live art, DJ turntable-ism, breakdancing, and performance poetry.

The cast housed nationally awarded poets, world- renowned singers and dancers, and professional, gallery-grade visual artists.
